Station Cafe - Rating: Yellow
Our investigation of The Station Cafe was a difficult one.
During this case we realized that we were dealing with an intelligent being. "Bob" is the name given to
the being by the owner of the cafe, which has no relation to Bob's Shoe Store(a previous business in the building).
Cecil (the owner) call's him Bob because the previous owner passed the name on. When Cecil bought the cafe he had some dealings
with Bob on a couple of occasions. First, Bob threw a loaf of bread at Cecil to get his attention and second, made loud
noises upstairs in the storage area. Cecil took it upon himself to tell Bob, "look I'm not going anywhere and I know you're
not, so when I'm here be good and when I'm gone you can run the place." After that statement was made, Cecil never encountered
any problems. We began our investigation around 10:30 P.M. on March 17th St. Patricks Day, and to our suprise it went well.
It did take some assertiveness on team member Lori to get Bob to communicate. After two hours of continuous
E.V.P. and no responses to our plea for Bob to communicate with us, Lori began to speak to Bob very assertively
and he replied with a whistle noise. Cecil had described to us earlier that week it was Bob's form of communication
to whistle. We began to ask questions about him to try to get some answers on why he was there. We got some responses, however
we have not proven them as of yet. As soon as we find more answers we will post them. Bob is apparently happy at the
cafe and has not caused a problem with the business. He does dwell there for reasons unknown, but after researched
he is found to be friendly and not a problem. We found evidence to suggest only the spirit of Bob is
in the cafe. He stays upstairs and seems to travel downstairs when the cafe is closed. Bob is not an aggressive spirit
but seems to respond to assertiveness well and does not lash out when taunted. We put Bob to many tests and he responded
well. We would like to give our appreciation to Cecil for opening his establishment to The Ghost Connection
and being open to our findings. The Station Cafe has a great historic feel to it and is a great place to visit.
