Amargosa Death Valley - Rating: Red

We began our investigation around 1:00 p.m. in Death Valley it was at least 100 degrees outside and at least 10 degrees hotter inside the hotel. The legend has it that there are spirits that reside here from the 1920’s one of a little child in room 24 where people have reported hearing a child crying Then there is spooky hollow this is a part of the hotel under construction and still off limits to visitors. Spooky hollow is where the miners were housed in the 1920’s.

Our investigation started in room 3 where Erin Pavlina  a medium in Las Vegas felt a spirit of a man. We could not identify the source of this spirit but some of the team felt the cold air that filled the room. We did not retrieve any E.V.P in that room. We proceeded to room 22 this is where Red Skelton stayed on several occasions when he came to Death Valley. Red Skelton’s spirit is also believed to roam here however we found no evidence of this on this trip. Next we went to room 24 this is better known as the crying babies room, This room was found to have a strong energy connected to it one member of our team Lori was found to have a very strong emotional connection to some energy in this room. Erin has said that it is because she is a mother and the small spirit can sense that about her. The E.V.P. captured hear was that of a woman asking “ can you hear me” which leads us to think  maybe the female voice was the child’s mother, in any event we did capture evidence of a female spirit in room 24.

Spooky Hollow was our next area we were to investigate on our journey. This place is not open to the public it is under construction. This is where the miners were housed in the 1920’s and they are still present down here. In room 34 we captured some E.V.P. of a man believed to be breathing over team member Lori’s shoulder when she asked give us a sign you are here. Erin felt a spirit of a male who has had a history of hurting people down here. Dano another member of the team felt like he was being attacked in this room by having his stomach twisted into knots he had to be removed from this room. I am unsure at this point if this part of the hotel should ever be open to the public.

We now proceed to the Opera House where Erin feels the presence of another male we believe to be Tom, he was the maintenance man here at the hotel. Tom appeared to Erin to be happy here and pleased with the way things are being handled and was pleased we came to see Marta. I do believe that there are spirits that roam the halls of the Amargosa Hotel and Opera House this is a beautiful place to visit and the hospitality is amazing and YES I would say that the Amargosa hotel and Opera House is haunted.
