August 12th   2011 :   We investigated the Pioneer Saloon. This place is historic and the building shows its history. We want to thank Noel for being the best host ever and we appreciate it.

The night started around 10:30pm with us setting up and taking a few snapshots of the building which showed no signs of spirit activity at that time. After set up we began an EVP session which yielded a very interesting hour ahead. We were communicating with a spirit through the EMF (Electromagnetic Field Detector) we asked a question and he lit both EMF’s up for "Yes" and one of them for "No". We know this to be a male presence because both lit when we asked his gender. We also gather he passed in the 1880s sometime and he was a Miner.

We all were having a nice conversation when the evening turned a little ominous by very loud bangs in the back room. This happened over a period of about an hour with bang after bang. We did not get to investigate this noise as we agreed to not go behind the bar as the booze was kept back there.

We would like to think it was paranormal, however, without being allowed back there we cannot say what the bangs were.

The evening did have good results as our EVP's were clear and the conversation with the spirit was also interesting. The spirit did also imply to us he was buried in an unmarked grave in the Goodsprings Cemetery, so if anyone reads this and has any information pertaining to this person (Spirit) please email us. I would love to possibly bring a name to this person.

Overall it was a decent investigation and would love to visit again if allowed.
