History:  The Shiloh Boys Home is located in Sulpher Springs, Arkansas.  It originated as a hotel in the early 1900s.  The wealthy would visit because they believed the springs beneath the hotel had healing powers.  After the hotel closed, the building later became the John Brown Military Academy in 1924.  The military academy closed in 1951 after sustaining major damage from a fire.  When the military academy closed, the building became a homeless shelter.  Today, Shiloh Boys Home plays host to the Shiloh Farms Bakery, and still houses three tenants from its days as a boarding house.  According to legend, when the military academy burned, many children were killed.  They supposedly still roam the halls of the building to this day.
